Well, it's not a snake at all. It's a Slender Glass Lizard (Ophisaurus attenuatus ssp).

Definately a glass lizard, I come across quite a few each year, both eastern and island variaties.

Yes that is a Glass Lizard!Be careful when handeling as well,due to the fact that they can break into very easy!I have had it happen myself several times...
