What about those Cameleon Condos?

shopaholic Nov 29, 2003 01:33 PM

Hi: has anyone here ever used one of those Chameleon Condos? looks really cool for the Cham to be able to roam free uncaged but just would like some feed back as to weather this is a neater idea for the keeper or the cham? Are there any dangers to this way of keeping(I read the Free-range article already, but I wondered specifically about this product)? How does the humidity stay up as a set up like that? Say i set one up in a room that I could close the door and then there's no chance of it wandering to other places in the house, would then this be a benefit to the Cham? Would it make it more tame? Or what if I took him out of a regular cage and set him on one only when i'm home, is that too much handling(every day or so)? thanks again guys! Maggie

I have kept two veilds in my condo, and personally, i think it works great. Sometimes, however, my male veiled will escape, but, he is usually found by the window, attempting to push the glass and escape to the yard. It has a dripper, three light bulb fixtures, etc... Personally, i like it, and will continue to use it. Just Ask any questions and ill be happy to answer them.
