Help! blood detection in feces

justchams Nov 29, 2003 05:31 PM

I detected some blood in my panther chameleon's feces (specifically in the urate(white part of feces)).

What could this mean (parasites, nematodes, kidney problem? nothing maybe?). I was trying to do some reserch, but yout opinion (experience) might be more helpful.

thanks

How do you know it was blood? Looks can be deceiving. Did you have a lab check it? There might be a way for a vet to give you a test strip for fecal blood that would say for sure.
