Update on my hog

raven3050 Nov 29, 2003 05:56 PM

Just wanted to update everyone on my Western hog (Alice) that wasn't eating. She finally shed her skin yesterday, today went out bought her a pinkie and she went right after it. She was trying to cram it in sideways but she finally found an easier way to to get it in. So she is happy and healthy and I feel relief to know what happened. THanks to all who helped,

Steve

So for the benefit of others on this forum, the only thing that got it feeding was going through a shed? How long was it not eating? Thanks for the update.

It went 3 weeks today at not eating. I would get it pinkies but all she would do is hiss at them and just hide in her spot. I found the shed yesterday and went to get her a pinkie but the store was soled out. So today I was able to get her one and it went after it in no time. Now she seems happy and content. I was quite worried for her, (this is my first snake of any kind) but nature took it's course. Thanks a lot to all.
