Hey,
Getting into ball pythons and have 3 nice captive bred adults and 1 w/c female. The female's color is typical w/c, grey-ish-slight gold. I saw some smaller, brilliantly colored wild-caught ball pythons for sale at a show today, almost bought a few but when I asked why the adult w/c bp's were so dull compared to the youngsters, the guy said the wild caught one's color washes out with age. Does this happen in captive bred snakes?
Thanks in advance!
Steve
