The Ghost ball python is quickly becoming one of my favorite morphs,the Albino is my #1 favorite.
Anyways,does anyone know the "story" of how the Ghost came to be?
Obviously it's genetic,but I would like to know who had the first and did it come from 2 normal parents (like ONE Leucistic BP) or was it WC? Thanks for any information.

The first hypo Ball i saw was a baby import i picked out of large group from a wholesaler about 14 years ago. It sold for a whopping $400.(alot for a Ball back then) Hypos, like most of the morphs available, are naturally occuring variants.

VPI brought in the very first Hypo or "Ghost" ball back around 1989.........here is a link to their site telling the story and also showing a pic of an neat snake....
