I have a similar story to the one posted below with my first SIGB's...lost 12 of 13 of them...partly b/c I think they had parasites when I bought them, maybe born with parasites (or so I think) transmitted from the mother. Luckily I had them quarantined from the rest of my snakes. One did not appear to have any symptoms of being sick and its the one that is now thriving! I had to force feed him guppies for over 6 months before moving to pinkie heads...now he is eating on his own full pinkies!!! woo hoo! I almost bought more SIGB at the NARBC show in Phila a few weeks ago BUT they were a little pricey. Still hesitant to pay too much for them.
