Thought I would let everyone see the new enclosure. Hope you like. =)
i love it! i really like how you can see it underwater and the shape and how it has two different spots to get out of the water. being able to see underwater and above seems like somethin you'd see at a zoo
nice enclosure!
Looks amazing, I also love the windowsto the water.
3 quick questions.
1. How many gallons of water?
2. Apartment or basement?
3. Glass, plexi or tempered?
Thanks a bunch...
Mr. F
Thanks for the compliments. The pond holds around 520 gallons including the plumbing and filter. It is actually on the main floor in what would normally be a dining room. I live on a military base and the floor is concrete so it easily holds the weight. The pond viewing windows are made of 1/2 inch glass but the rest are all plexi. Had to do it to keep the cost down. The reason it has the two seperate basking areas is that I keep my "kids" seperate. When I had them together my male tore my female up pretty good. You can't see it in the pic but there is a net that seperates the enclosure down the middle but still allows the water to flow through. Seems to be working so far. I am working on getting some more pics that will show some detail. I also photographed the build up so let me know if you would like to see those. Talk to you all later.
