Hey is a leo's poo as stank as my african fat tail's? LOL First time owning a gecko, just thought i'd ask. It is a little strong when you open the cage, even after once.

I've only had my gecko a month or so. I havnt had any smell problems. I just make sure to clean up after her.

It shouldn't smell strong. Strong smelling stool is a sign of a problem, either infection or parasites. Be sure to wash your hands before you go from one type of animal to another, and wash well after you handle your herps. If his/her stool continues to have a strong smell, take it to the vet.
