Humidity

It seems to be very dry in Slytherin's cage. The substrate is ESU jungle mix and is very dry. She always has fresh spring water to drink; and she drinks alot. The humidity gauge says desert. Should I mist her and cage a couple times a day? Also she was peeling a little bit on the top of her head and back and now it seems to have stopped.

Hi, Barbara:
It definitely sounds quite dry in the cage. I'd spray it every couple of days or so. Remember, you don't want it to be wet, so a light misting here and there should do it. Her drinking and the humidity gauge are good indications you need a little more moisture in there, especially because she comes from Indonesia and not Australia.

Hi Edward, nice to hear from you again. I was hoping the jungle mix by ESU would keep it moist in Slytherin's cage and the water bowl. I guess between the basking bulb and the fact it is dry in our apartment don't help. She did stop shedding but I don't see any skin around her toes so I guess she is alright.
