amnestia55 Nov 30, 2003 04:32 PM

I am getting a female that is 13 inches and 5 months old i have a male that is 16 inches and 7 months old right now can i house these 2 together? or will this be a problem?(i dont want them to mate at this point as the female is to young) i also have a 10 inch female... can the 13 inch female be held with my 10 inch one? or do i need a totally new enclosure for the new comer?

no, you can not keep a male and female together past hatchling age, period. only females can ever be kept together, only if theyre the same size, and even then they may not get along. best bet is to always house beardies separately.

Whatever you decide to do...make sure to quarantine them for 3 months.
