Some of you know that I got a tegu at our reptile show last Saturday. Turns out that Bubba is a female. She also had at one time a broken left elbow. Doc said it was old and has healed up nicely. Where she lost her front toes has also healed well. No sign of MBD. No sign of infection. She did get an all purpose wormer. In one week I have to take in a stool sample to make sure she is clear. Doc gave her the wormer as a precaution. She wouldn't give me a stool sample to take in.(Naturally) She also got a vitamin shot. Doc said that for the apparent rough way she has had to go she is no worse for wear. Her scars, the elbow break and the missing toes have all healed well.

No, No Bubbett. My teenager wants to call her Zilla. She says the tegu looks like a minature dinosaur.
