I have two frogs that ceased eating, a pixie frog and a budgetts frog. The pixie frog I have in a 29 gallon tank with a substrate 2 inches deep. The budgetts frog is in a 10 gallon tank. I had him in 1 inch of water but when he stopped eating I took the water out and put in 2 inches of peatmoss. He has stayed burried and I turned off his heat lamp. Am I doing the right thing with these frogs?

With the pyxie, I would probably add some more bed a beast and I would try to get a larger tank for it soon. 50 gallons minimum is the normal standard. The frogs might sense the change in temp that has been going on throughout the nation recently and see it as a time to be cooled. As long as they keep weight, you shouldn't have a problem. Andy
