Gecko and Tree Frog in same tank?

setmax7 Dec 01, 2003 07:32 PM

I was wondering if a gecko and a tree frog could be housed in the same tank? If it were a day gecko or would any kind work? Thanks.

What size tank? What gecko? Frog? How much experience do you have?

Obviously, all these are factors you should consider when planning a mix. You wouldnt want a 2" gecko with a whites tree frog, or a small frog with a big gecko, etc.

Good luck,

In a 20 high, you can house 1 house gecko and a couple of green or grey tree frogs. You must set up a basking site for the gecko, and a moist area for the frog. Not hard, but takes daily maintainence. Anything else would be more complex. You can also add a green or blue anole to the mix, but the tank must be larger.
