Green poop

Piglet106 Dec 01, 2003 07:49 PM

Hello, my beardie just pooped and it was green.....I started him on pellets recently and he has been on greens for a while....this is the first time I have seen green poop and I have 5 other beardies....He is 5 months old, 242 grams and 17 inches long......Any thoughts or knowledge that might cause this would be greatly appreicated....

Thanks
Cherl

The pellets aren't all green though, they are mixed colors....it almost looked like undigested greens, but can't be sure about that....any other suggestions....

I've used repcal pellets which are a mix of colors (red, tan and green). They caused the green poop syndrome for my dragons even though they were mixed colors. There must be quite a bit of food coloring in the pellets which is why I don't use them... I just freeze my crickets (after gutloading them) and use them like pellets. =)
