I have a juvenile Mali that developed a strange deposit around its nostrils today. I know that Uro's can get these deposits but I don't know how to clear them up. The temp is good in his habitat and his eating and excreting seem normal. Any suggestions?

A white crust is normal - and usually it gets knocked off on its own. If it's sticking or if it's stuck IN the nostril, I sometimes go in to help out. You can usually flick it off with your finger. If it's stuck inside, you can use a damp Q-tip (not dripping wet - you don't want water to get into the respiratory system) to dissolve it out.
