My leopard gecko always tries to climb up the sides of the tank. My gecko should be used to the tank and the habitat is perfect. I heard that geckos try to climb up the tank because they want to mate. Is this true? and should I find my gecko a mate?

oops
Basically 95% of the geckos kept in an aquarium do climb. Mine did at the beginning while they adjusted to the habitat. I added a female to the tank, so the male wasnt alone, the mated, and, now both climb. It is not a problem. just let them be.
n/p
I put in a hammock and she taught me to put in my arm when she wants to come out. She doesn't climb the walls anymore and has better muscle tone now.
What kind of hammock did you purchase and where from?
