from what I've read, I think you should be ready for her to get a little agressive, and may want to give her her own space so she can relax and focus on nest building. Again, just from what I've read, the advice is that she will want to dig in some dirt, under a board or something, at least a foot deep. I have bred bearded dragons, and they would usually dig under a log or into a corner to lay their eggs. Tegus are known to guard their eggs.
It is also possible that she will retain her eggs to her detriment and the detriment of her eggs, if she feels like there is no good place to lay them.
as far as having your female lay two clutches a year, if it were me I would not encourage that, as it could exhaust the female and deplete her. I have seen that a lot in bearded dragons. Maybe tegus are exempt, but I would research that.
