A friend sent me an offspring from his corn/baird hybrid pair. I never saw one before. He says some offspring looked more guttata and some looked more bairds. I don't know what he will look like as an adult.

Terry,
I've seen a few adult corn X baird hybrids and they look amazing as adults. I breed a hypo Corn to a Bairds a few years ago but didn't kept any of the babies. I wish I did. From what I hear it takes them about a year to really show their true colors. If your friend has any more babies or plans to breed them again please let me know I would love to get a pair.
Best of luck
Dave
Hi Dave - Thanks for the information and comments. I'll check if there's anymore babies and/or if he will be breeding any this coming season.
