how long to quarantine?

how many months? i've heard anywhere from 1-3 months...what's recommended? thanks

yea, 1-3 months is about right. If you bought him from a pet shop i would say 3 months just to make sure. Check that its waste is normal looking and not liquidy.

I'd recommend at least 3 months, in an animal with no signs of illness. If I know an animal has been sick and treated (e.g. bacterial infection) and seems better, or if I suspect an animal might be sick though tests negative, I may quarantine for up to a year or even more. But that's just me. I breed geckos and have a lot of them, so I am extra extra careful with quarantine.
