What kind of lizard should i get?

setmax7 Jun 02, 2003 12:01 AM

I'm just wondering what type of lizard i should get. I like iguanas, but they get really big. I would prefer something that eats veggies and fruits like iguanas, and i really like the look or iguanas. So basically, is there anything like iguanas that don't get so big? Thanks for any replies. If you can't think of anything like that you can add your imput on another kind of lizard that is fun. Thanks.

Uromastyx are vegetarians. They're kind of cool.
Bearded dragons eat veggies but also eat bugs. They're pretty cool too.
Other than that, there aren't a lot of plant eating lizards.

I've got a chuckwalla that is mostly vegetarian. They are closely related to the desert iguana but don't get much bigger than a bearded dragon. I have a juvenile who is quite sweet and good natured.
