How often can baby uros eat bugs? My lil guy loves them, but I am only giving him 1-3 crix a month. Is it safe to give him more? I dont want him to stop eating his veggies, but he looks so sad when my beardie is stuffing her face with 60-70 crickets, and all Oliver (my uro) has is a bowl full of beans & greens.

I believe you can do 1-2 crickets a week and be okay - no more.

Thanx!! He's just a mali. I got him from Deer Fern Farms. Dr.Dix said he was a "Ocellated-Clown Mali", though I have no idea what that means. lol!

is a type of morph. A morph is the type of pattern of yellow that appears on the Mali's back in adulthood. The ocellated-clown morph is one of the most sought-after morphs of mali uro enthusiasts. You should count yourself extremely lucky to have one of these. Check out Doug Dix's site for mali morphs, he gives full descriptions of each morph along with a pic of malis sporting that particular morph.

Hope this helps
