I think My mali (pogo) is in semi-hibernation. However, he hasnt come out of his cave for days! Is it

a)Semi- hibernation

b)Scared Stiff

c)Not hot enough

He was eating the first day we got him, and hes not doing it anymore! Im pretty sure its not hot enough, but Im worried.

well 1st things 1st you have to probe the temp in the cage,it's very important you have correct temps,115F-130F on the hot spot,100 middle,85 cooler end,you need UVA-UVB bulbs as well.

probe the tank and find out hwat it is before we move further along......kali

I think the problem is solved...

I saw him eating, and when we came in he darted back to his cave, so he's active, and fine. I think hes in semi-hibernation and lazy and scared stiff

It's still a necessity to have a digital thermometer (in the outdoor section of any large store like fred meyer or target for US$10-20) to check the temps in your cage. It's impossible to guess. And over the long term, if temps are too high or two low, you are risking the health of your uro.

I'm glad he seems to be doing well in the meantime!
