CHANGE IN BEHAVIOR PATTERNS, SOMETHING WRONG?

bruinbob Dec 02, 2003 04:43 PM

This post is for a friend. I've had experience with iguanas and snakes but not bearded dragons. Their 14 in., two year old bearded dragon hasn't been eating much or pooping much the past couple of weeks. (only about once a week) It is also spending a lot of time in a wooden box in its cage. They say it is scratching around a lot in there. They feed it leafy green and orange vegetables as well as crickets and vitamin supplements. It has a heat lamp and the cage temp is about 85 degrees. It also doesn't seem to be drinking. Normally it would eat and poop every day. The temp in the house is a little cooler now that winter is here. This is about all I know. They think it's a male but not sure. It is very colorful compared to others they've seen in pet stores. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Bob
