My ball is a 100% het for pied and hes about 22in.. I put him in his feeding container and he struck at it caoiled around it and i thought it was dead so when he started to eat it the rat came back to life.. he ate it alive.. did any of you balls do this??? is this normal???

My Burm did the same thing with a mouse fuzzy last week and I thought it was really odd. However I think they know since its a fuzzy/pinky it can get away with it without getting injured. I wouldnt worry about it.
My balls have never done it
but both my hatchling corns do it
they don't even try to restrict it
just slithers up and eats it head first
kinda grose to watch because you can hear the pinky squeeking from inside the snakes neck until it dies from lack of air
so I wouldn't worry

Why would you be feeding ANY ball pinky rats? Way too small, unless you're feeding him like, 6 per meal...
