ReptoMin for Frogs?

turtlesong Dec 02, 2003 09:47 PM

I don't know if this is feasible, or healthy, but last night I fed my bullfrog two sticks of ReptoMin. I did this by stuffing them in the mouth of a frozen but thawed out minnow and dangling it in front of the frogs face with fish line. It worked.

But is this okay? Is ReptoMin a healthy addition to aquatic frog's diets as well?

I think it can't hurt, and that the same application for turtles and other reptiles must apply to our beloved frog friends as well. Hence, my new diet for a dietless frog person stuck in the midst of a harsh and barren winter.

I wouldn't really think it would hurt. It is a good thing to feed african clawed frogs as well as some other aquatics. If it is a part of a well varied diet, it should probably be good for the frog. Andy
