what do you guys think...

of the wheather lately?... just kidding.
my real question is this (nore of a dilemma for which i am seeking solution really) well there is this really cool and beautyful red ackie male for sale at a local pet shop (a good one) for 180. their other males are priced at 400 but this one had his tail bitten so it doesnt look "perfect". i have absolutley no reservations about owning an "imperfect" animal, however this is not exactly the best time for me to buy him as i have a lot of things going for me right now. im in the process of raising my grades which kinda slipped after i put far too much of my time into no falling behind on calculous.. ironic isn't it... i also just bought my timor about 2 months ago and that was also a costly eneveour. i know this is an awsome lizard which i really want and will probably end up buing at some point in my life but right now my future hangs in the ballots. i don't even know where i will be going to college and if i will be able to keep them while i am there (unless i live off campus but many colleges require freshmen to live on-campus the first year). basically unless i manage to get into harvey mudd i don't think i will be able to take my animals to college, at least not the first year. so what do you guys think? do you think i will see an ackie at that price again within the next few years? how much do you think that a slightly injured colorful juvie is worth? should i go ahead and buy him and if i find that i cannot care for him later sell him or give him to a good home? the guy at the shop is doing a favor and putting a sold sig on his cage, but i don't think he will be able to keep him on hold for much longer, i think tomorow is my last day to have "first dibs." please give me some advice... any advice. i am tearing myself appart here trying to make a decision.
thank you,
-Jake

There will always be a good deal out there. You arent missing out if you dont buy this ackie, because there will be more to come. I will put my own life on it.

This is a lesson that you can apply throught your whole life. You have the impulse to live beyond your means and buy this animal. We live in a plastic world. You get where Im going? We are taught by society to go after the things that give us instant gratification, and when we live by these false principles, we surround ourselves with lies.

Live within your current means. Thats my advice to you.

I talk alot of sh1t, but you come accross to me as a young man who is honestly trying to do the right thing. I like that about you, so I am choosing to be real.

Take care, and good luck with ALL of your endeavors!

really i appreciate it. i love that ackie but i believe that the right thing to do, at least right now is to pass him up... after all i got to thinking and i would rather regret not buying him then regret having bought him. there is nothing worse then regretting a living thing.
so um, thanx again,
Jake
