Inbreeding is never totally safe, but to get a desired trait it is required. Most will say you can breed the F1 and F2 together and F2 to F2 and F2 to F3 but not F3 to the F1. This is usually what I go by and if I need an F4 generation I always introduce a new animal the is not related at all or is from the F1 to an unrelated snake. This should be sufficient to reintroduce strong genes in the mix, but still get the requested morph or color out of the babies in the F5 generation.
