When is the best time to purchase indigos?

Just have always loved them and am looking to get a pair some day.
I live in So Cal.

Well...you should start looking to get on waiting lists about now...and then keep up with the breeder come March-April when eggs are usually being laid.

Babies are usually born June-August, but it generally takes several weeks (at least) to get them well establised.

Good breeders typically will not sell you the snakes until they are feeding well, but will hold onto them (usually with a deposit) for you until they are.

This is assuming you want couperi.
Erebennus start right off...but are basically unavailable.

Hey there rude dog. I talked with you in the past about possibly buying a hognose from you but since came into some complications. But anyways, Renegade in San Diego had some nice indigos at the show at the concourse. They average $600. each and were beautiful. I too live in So. Cal, Van Nuys to be precise and am also considering the Indigos in the future.
