Question...

Mayo Jun 02, 2003 07:13 AM

I have noticed in the past and decided to ask here. Our RES occaisonally picks at the silicon that binds the edges of the glass together. As you know this stuff is very rubbery and isn't cut easily, just compresses and then expands with complete memory. I dont' really think she can do any damage, but wanted to throw out the situation to see if any of you have had any adverse problems with this.

Matt

It seems to be a boredom thing with mine. It's completely cured so it's inert, no harm done. except to your tank.

I wasn't worried about the turtle, just check'n to see if anyone had a turtle actually bite the silicon off and cause tank troubles. I don't imagine I have any worries, just wanted to know if anyone had. Nobody must, because you are the only response.
