Crazy Muskie

Shaky Dec 03, 2003 07:13 AM

Since we moved in October, my musk turle has been acting frantic, attempting to escape the tank, swimming non-stop, etc.
He also eats less than before.
What are some factors to consider here?
Does he need a hibernaculum, perhaps?

besides moving,what else changed?
was it a far move?municipal water supply to well water?
could u have a broken heater leaking juice into the water?
are you now housing him with an adult alligator?

The tank setup was changed a bit.
The move was not far (@ 3 miles). He was in a dry box overnight.
