From what I understand they should be 4-6inches snout to tail as soon as they hatch. Unless you meaning snout to vent in which case i'm not to sure.

They are usually 3 1/2"-4" when hatched (total length). Mine were 4.5" and I was told they were large.

the ones I hatched some were 5" or a lil better than. It usually takes them 4 to 6 weeks to reach 6 inches in the hypo genes fro the smaller ones and I believe something like 8 weeks for the smaller (ones with no hypo or GG influence)3.5 to 4" hatchlings to reach that size. Of course it all depends on diet and supplements and such and also some dragons grow faster than others. So really there's no way to give an accurate answer. There are several places you can get growth charts though to give you an idea. One is beautifuldragons.com and another I believe is dachiu.com. or is that a clutch rate chart?

Must be why mine were in between, Papa is normal, Mama is light orange.
