This is Ivan, an 8 month old Panther. We got him a few weeks ago at a reptile show in Atlanta. Such a great little guy, he is very active... and doesn't seem to mind being handled either. He actually tries to reach out to you when you try and put him back in his cage, hehe. Anyway here are some pics.

Hi-

Just few tips:

The chameleon will feel allot more secure if you raise his cage off the floor 2-3'. This will allow him to view you looking down rather then looking up.

I did not see a dripper in the setup photo, maybe it was being cleaned or you are using an auto mister. You will need one of the two for a water source.

I can't see to well from the photo but it looks like you have vines going around the ficus tree. You may consider putting more vines around the top of the cage, panthers love walking on them and basking on them.

Nice setup and chameleon, the variegated ficus is my favorite plant to use, adds allot of color. Hope this helps!

Right now we are misting his cage several times a day... Hopefully soon we can rig up a dripping system. And as far as raising the cage...We first need to secure a better "bottom" for the cage. At the moment we have a screen for the floor piece with towels over it. We are in the process of getting a board to place at the bottom, that way we can lift the cage up and have it sitting up on something. I've also recently bought more vines to insure more climbing space. We are still working on perfecting his habitat. That picture was taken the first day the cage was built, so it still looked abit "ghetto" hehe, thank you for the advice though. we could always use some

Nice looking panther. Is he a cross? Looks alot like the panther "bparmstrong" had a while back that was supposed to be a Nosy Be.
