The arm wave is a submisive gesture and is normal for them to do around dominant beardies, and even to people. It's his/her way of saying please don't eat me, I'm just gonna stay over here and bask. The bulging eyes can be caused by him getting ready to shed. Mine do that to loosen the skin around the eyes.

definitly sounds like your new dragon is about to shed. beardies always rub up against what ever they have access to in order to help them remove the dead skin they are shedding. usually if you soak them in a cool (not cold)bath, it helps them shed that much easier. remember to never leave the dragon unattended while he is bathing and to keep the water level at shoulder length. sometimes when bathing is a new experience - they can kinda "freak out" and get jumpy in the water. keep your hand in the water so your baby feels a lil more secure....and dont be surprised if the dragon goes potty in the water. it helps relax them and is a good resource to use if you don't feel your dragon is being "regular". Hope that helps and congrats on your new member of your family!
