Drinking water.

I saw my gecko out drinking water today. Its the first time i've actually seen her anywhere near her water dish. I didnt realize that they drank so much water. She was at her dish for like 10 minutes just drinking water. Hope she didnt spoil her dinner by tanking up on liquid. I'm trying to get some good pictures of her, but she's not out all that often. She is getting more tame every day though. She still hasnt touched her calcium dish though. Anybody know how long it takes for them to realize where their calcium dish is?
Thanks

yeah i'm always amazed when i see my leo drinking water she doesn't spend more than 3 or 4 minutes at it though - but that's just when i see her. for me, i leaned the calcium dish up to my leo's face n she licked it... she liked what she was tasting and just kept licking... i pulled it back and set it down N she just walked up to it and kept licking (that's the 1st day i put calcium in her tank... 2 days after i got her).

if you're worried and want to put more calcium in her than the dust on your feeders, you can try sprinkling some calcium in her water dish and let it dissolve - she'll take it in during her 10 minute drink - lol take care N good luck!

My calcium dish is my mealworm dish, so my leos can't help but know where it is
