I posted a few days ago about an Ig rescue. For those who are concerned, I took him to the vet today and got a bunch of stuff to medicate him with. She said he has very good color but is a little skinny. I guess he is small for his age, the vet said his femoral pores were the size of a 3 year old or so but he's only about as big as a 2 year old. His left eye is permanently damaged and he has a very bad infection in his mouth. Also his tail is cracked on the bottom in a few places and the vet had no idea how that could have happened with the way it looked. I just have to soak him everyday and keep his humidity up to keep his tail from getting worse and apply meds to his eye socket and mouth. Oh yeah, also he has a big hard stool stuck in him so I need to try and get him to go number 2 and get a sample for the vet to test for parasites. Other than that he is very nice and a gorgeous iguana. I'll post again if there are any more findings. Thanks again for the advice.
