Do bi-colour hondurans (such as the tangerine phase) tend to get darker as they age? In particular do the red/orange rings become a deeper or darker shade?
Thanks.

almost all hondurans darken with age. but the degree varies dramatically. The narrow ring on tricolors can darken so much / fill with black tipping that the light color is completely overrun by black and the ring merges with the black on either side, in effect the ring disappers. Tangerines may get some tipping, and will darken overall a little, but you don't see the whole narrow ring becoming obscured.
