This photo was taken Saturday, one week after we picked her up. She's been on oral antibiotics, the abcess was evacuated and the wound debrided down to healthy tissue. The swelling has gone down considerably and she can now open her eye. She's active, feisty, and eating very well. I expect a full recovery after a lengthy healing period.

Wow! She looks so much better already, its amazing what a single week can do with some TLC. She's going to be a very pretty girl before long 
Poor girl... I'm VERY glad she's getting better... and am also glad she happened to find someone to take care of her!
