Thermomiter reads 60-65... but if I want a little extra heat what do I do ??

miketalka has the right idea.one other thing though.you probably should put a gaurd around the heaters element.not one of those small plastic ones that keep oscars & small turtles from playing with the heater.i would get a piece of pvc tubing with an i.d. of about twice the elements dia. drill some holes through it to allow heated water multiple places to flow & attatch it securely in the outflow area from your filter.this should circulate heated water evenly through the "tank".
