i have had my boa for about 2 1/2 weeks now and he hasnt pooped yet. he eats fine he has eat 1 med rat for the past 2 fridays and still hasnt pooped is this bad. my ball took about 3 weeks to pass his first urate but i was just wanting to know if he will be the same. and should i feed him this friday or with till he goes to the bathroom. i have soaked him a few times in warm water but still no poop. thanks

My snakes deficate about every 3-4 weeks. I feed them every 5 days, so one might think they should go more often. I think people are used to their own patterns (won't be specific). Humans have a much faster metabolism which enables us to digest food much quicker. Snakes are not like this. What would take us 1 hour to start to break down takes snakes a couple days.
What you describe is normal and would not worry one bit.
