I just bought one if these...i hope it grows fast.

Anyways just a vine off that is over 4 inches long and put the end you cut into soil or water. you can use merical grow or sothing to start the roots. once the roots start place it in soil if it isn't already.

the part on the main plant that you cut from will grow vins off the sides of the vine left over so it will spread out a fill in the empty spot fast.

hope that wasn't too confusing for you.

Thanks chamrcool.

They are not the fastest growers. And they are not really creepers but climbers. Even with pc above, they tend to want to grow upwards and not outwards.

Creeping Fig(Ficus pumila)is rather easy to propagate, however like previously mentioned, it is a rather slow grower. To propagate, simply take tip cuttings, remove the lower two or three leaves, and put into damp, but not saturated soil. You may even choose to use a rooting hormone, to speed up the process. The rooting process might be sped up as well if underheat is supplied. Eventually fresh roots will grow, forming a new plant, do not apply miracle grow to a young plant, for it will fry the freshly grown roots of the tiny little plant. Hope this helps,
