I was reading some of the info on Ron Trempers LeopardGecko.com and I found out that albinos are blinded by the light. Where do I buy a heat mat that I could put under a 10 gallon that would keep it around 92. I use paper towels as substrate and I have a $16 temp adjuster for big apple herp. If anyone has any ideas on were to get any that would be great.

Your local reptile/pet store probably does. Baring having one close, most of the major pet store chains (PetCo, PetSmart) carry either ZooMed or um... that Cobra one. Not sure if that's the name. I've used both, they both work about the same. I have an 8 watt one (probably the smallest size - the boxes have guidelines) for my 10 gallon quarantine tank.

I have a T-Rex Cobra heat mat for a 10-20 gal tank for my 20 long (29 gallon footprint of 12x30). Substrate is 1/4" sand under ceramic tile and it heats to 90-92 degrees without a rheostat. the size of this Cobra heat mat is 6 x 11 at 7 watts. The T-rex UTH are made not to exceed 100 deg. Safer than the others and made far better. I'd try the smaller Cobra heat mat or the 6 x 11 if you use a rheostat. Hope this helps. Good luck... RR
