Death Head Eggs - What do they look like? etc.....

Vargas Dec 04, 2003 11:18 AM

Hi All,
I am about to change the substrate on a large Rubber Maid storage container where I have been keeping adult Death Head Cock Roaches for about 6 weeks. Is there a way to see if there are eggs in the substrate? What do they look like? Do they lay them in food etc? If they (the Death Heads) have been in the same container for over a long period, and kept in optimum Cock Roach conditions, heat and moisture, should I separate the substrate and assume there are eggs in there? Is there any thing I should do differently in maintenance of the egg incubation container than what I do for adult Death Heads?
I do realize that the information on Roach Breeding is limited and do appreciate the help.
Thanks Steve

Death heads are live bearers.. so you shouldn't be finding any eggs.
