Hey,
The answer to your question is YES!! Male black bloods don't get quite as large as the other Blood and short-tails so it is fine. Although, it is always nicer to give them a little more room if you can. I.e., some thing in the range of, 48"long by 18" deep and 14"-18" high wouldn't hurt. Hope this helps!

I'd agree with Angel on this one. I house my Bloods in 4x3x2' tall cages and they seem to use half of it, but I feel better if they have more room.
Wih the right temperament, these are my favorite snakes.
