Whats better... small humidifier or automatic sprinkler? (more)

gabrielmtl Dec 04, 2003 02:44 PM

I want to buy eigther a automatic sprinkler thing that I would put on a timer, for both my cages, or, I could buy 2 small humidifiers. Whats better?

keep in mind, I would still spray 2-3 times a day, plus the dripper.

It will depend on what you need most. If you need something to keep the general cage air humidity higher the humidifier will work great. If you need something that provides direct drinking water (and your general air humidity is fine), then the dripper/sprinkler would be better. Generally, humidifiers don't produce a lot of dripping water unless they run for very long cycles.
