All my adults are in cooling now & I was going to wait another 1 1/2 weeks before I started introducing the males but this ones cage needed a bit of cleaning so I just tossed him in with her. He sure seems happy I did.

For those who don't remember or weren't around, I bred this pair 2 years ago & ended up with 9 sweet little babies. She may look a bit thin to most, but back then she was about half the diameter as in this pic. before she became gravid. I've had her around 4 years & this is the thickest she's ever been. Her system is clean as a whistle, just not a great eater. Meanest boa I've ever seen in my entire life also.

I just yanked her out with the hook just like I always do for cleaning. She was no worse than normal - striking, hissing, flailing little monster.
