feeding/shedding.........................................

Is it ok to feed my snake if it jus in the beginning stages of shedding? Her eyes are jus beginning to look milky blue....any help would be appreciated. thanks

It if fine to feed in shed. They will not eat if they do not want to. I have some that stop eating a couple of days before they even show signs of shedding and others the will eat even if they are in the process of shedding. It depends on the snake, but the snake will let you know if it doesn't want to eat.

While I agree with Tom, I prefer not to feed during shedding. I think it makes the snake more likely to sleep through optimum shedding time. Anyway, missing a meal for a snake is no more injurious than missing an afternoon snack is for a human. It just sharpens his appetite for the next meal.
