It took me a bit to figure it out (the advice I got was confusing and misleading) but hopefully I can do a clearer job of explaining it.

You first need to upload the picture to your kingsnake photo album. Near the top of the page, there will be an underlined link called "Photo Gallery". Go there and upload your photo into your account. You may need to log in first. Just follow the steps and fill in the blanks.

Once it's uploaded, it will have a new filename. It'll take your filename and add numbers and words. For example, my file was called: Echo-stalking.jpg

The photo gallery saved it as: Echo on the prowl - 44613Echo-stalking.jpg

"Echo on the prowl" was the title I gave it when I uploaded it. '44613' is some sort of account number or something.

As soon as you've uploaded your image, you'll get a new option when you select 'Post a New Message' in the forum. Down below the box where you type in your message and below the 'Link URL', 'Link Title', and 'Image URL' boxes, you'll get a NEW box called 'Select Image from Photo Gallery'. The easiest way to post a pic is to just select if from this menu.

If you want to post more than one picture in a post, it gets more complicated, and that's where people confused me. Say I wanted to post my picture 'Echo-stalking.jpg' that was saved in the kingsnake gallery as 'Echo on the prowl - 44613Echo-stalking.jpg', I'd have to type in the 'image tag' which you can find by clicking on 'Tools and Toys' which is a link immmediately below this text box on the right.

There, you'll find the code you need. you have to type in:

(img)http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/data/44613Echo-stalking.jpg(/img)

BUT, replace all teh ( and ) brackets with [ and ]. (I had to type in a different bracket because if I didn't, it would just post the picture and not the code). You can type in as many of these links as you want right after each other and you'll get as many pics as you want in one post, just make sure you use the correct file name.

As you can see, you drop the title Kingsnake adds to the beginning (ie. Echo on the prowl) and just keep the account # (44613) and the rest of the filename.

I hope I haven't lost ya. I didn't think it would take this much typing to explain it, but hopefully this helps.

Cheers
