Would a 2' long x 17" tall x 1' wide cage be suitable for a 13"yellow spotted timor monitor for a while?

Yeah it should be sufficiant but why use something small when it's inexpensive to get something larger...try walmart...50 gallon sterilite containers for around 15-20 bucks...or similar..
