Amazing pics...how big is the retic in the photo (lenght, weight)?

too many shots of the really huge retics and it is a pleasure to see them when they do show up. Where is that retic and as asked before what are it's estimated length and weight?

These pics were passed on to me from a friend. He got them from a friend that works at the zoo. The retic (from what I've been told by members on BCF) was a Sulawesi. She was at the San Antonio zoo, but has since died. I don't have photo dates or the size of the snake. Just thought the pictures were amazing and wanted to share.

If I remember correctly Dave Barker posted about this snake a week or so ago. He said it used to be his and he gave it to the zoo. He would probably be the one to ask about its dimensions, Todd

that really makes that a great sequence. It would be nice if the people could be identified and the photographer credited. Thanks for sharing.

Last time I was there, which was about 9 months ago, the sign by the big Retic said she was measured in Nov of '01, I believe, and she was 22 ft. She was sitting in her pool. A friend of my that worked there said she was mean as hell.

I happened across this page today and thought of this post. If you scroll down to the snake named "Marcy" it seems to be the one ya'll have been talking about and gives a little more information on her.

I work up at the zoo, she was 24'9 and tipped the scales at 286lbs, her name was marci and will be missed.
